Can I update my personal information on the mobile application at any time?

Do I have to always share my location?

When carriers are assigned a shipment in the TKO app, it is recommended that they select the option to always share their location. This helps shippers accurately track their freight. Once the shipment is completed, carriers can change the tracking setting to “Allow when using”.

It should be noted that TKO can also send push notifications for available loads. If carriers share their location, the admins will have access to the exact distance from the pickup location and are more likely to assign carriers closer to the pickup location.

What notifications will be sent to my phone from the app?

TKO will send push notifications for the following:

  • Available shipments that match your equipment.
  • When you are assigned a shipment by an admin.
  • Shipment updates and/or changes.
  • When an admin sends you chat.
Why do I need to provide pictures of my equipment, license, tags and endorsements/certifications?

The TKO platform has two main objectives. The first is to ensure complete transparency to shippers. When registered TKO drivers fill out their profile completely and upload the necessary pictures, shippers can see the precise equipment and driver that will be transporting their freight. The second objective is to eliminate the possibility of drivers, carrier companies, and/or shippers having to deal with double brokers.
